Reflection on the blog posts, this course and math pedagogy
Skemp on Two Approaches to Learning Math keeps lingering in my mind for a long time and until now it has given me a much inquiry in a lot of ways because there are constant intellectual and practising tension where I need to think about making a instructional or conceptual teaching in mathematics. Neither of the facets of teaching and learning mathematics cannot be neglected for variety of reasons. First of all, the techniques are what students require for getting what they want out of the lecture. For this part, it is total opposite of what I have expected because in the beginning I thought students would not feel quite attractive of the teacher explaining the techniques of solving certain problems. The problem was though this facet/urge of understanding math is tightly or probably inseparable from wanting to get a good grade in the assignments or test materials that math resources often provide for student evaluation. For many other reasons, there were much to thought about this article and reflect upon my teaching mathematics. There were cons and pros of teaching instructions for problem solving or just approach with conceptual understanding and let students solve certain things on their own. There are no boundaries and procedural technique to teaching it hence that was what made teaching such a hard job.
That connects to my blog postings in a way that I thought mathematics wasn't all about either instructional or conceptual but sometimes has to go beyond understanding and knowing but spiritual and thoughtful approach to students' emotions to approach what's rigid looking subject such as mathematics. There are so many things that keep teachers unable to connect with students especially for the subject mathematics because the answer and non-answer often isolate the student experience from the understanding of the subject. This in a way necessitates the connection of art to mathematics as a collective subject. So many obstacles to student connection hence could be implemented through the art project, I thought.

Thank you for your very thoughtful comments, Jun! I appreciate the depth of your reflections.
